Liam Shaw is a documentary wedding photographer and co-founder of York Place Studios. His work is rooted in observation rather than direction, focusing on real moments, quiet connections and the in-between details that give a wedding day its meaning. Influenced by street photography, Liam brings a calm, unobtrusive presence, allowing people to be fully themselves while he tells the story as it naturally unfolds. Alongside Dominique, he is also the co-author of Is This Something?, an internationally recognised book exploring documentary wedding photography, creativity and storytelling, now used by photographers around the world as a reference point for unposed work.
